3 Things you should know about the OT Love Train: #YouTubeBlack Voices Creator Class of 2023
Just last week, The OT Love Train got recognized by YouTube. They were selected as part of the YouTube Black Voices Creator Class of 2023 amongst 179 talented creators and artists from around the world, including Coco Jones, Asake and BNXN fka Buju.
The well-known social media platform debuted the #YouTubeBlack Voices Fund in 2020. This initiative was designed to actively assist Black YouTube creators in order for them to succeed on the app.
YouTube will collaborate closely with content creators like The OT Love Train in the upcoming months by providing specialized partner assistance and seed funding to aid in the growth of their channels and presence on the website. Content creators have the chance to take part in specialized training, workshops, and networking events to grow their business.
What is The OT Love Train
The OT love train is a social media brand formed by 2 married Nigerians, Olus B and Dorothy Tuash. Olus B and Dorathy are content creators that think love can change the world and creates content in that regard. They have been in the content creation game since 2017 with the goal to establish themselves as a reliable resource for black excellence, positivism, and authenticity while creating and publishing valuable content that inspires, educates and de-stresses their viewers. They have over 100k followers on Instagram and 21.6k followers on YouTube
Into Their Personal Lives
Their real names are Oluwaseyi and Oluwatoyosi Adeniyi. They are based in Calgary, Alberta in Canada as a couple. The couple relocated from Nigeria in January 2021 and have lived in Canada for over 2 years now. They make ends meet by working for a corporate company while doing content creation on the side. Their job line is around marketing and branding. While Oluseyi studied marketing and branding and also learnt from his late father, Oluwatoyosi got the skill and knowledge informally from her husband.
Into Their Marriage
According to one of their numerous videos on YouTube, they met in their family church here in Nigeria. Oluwatoyosi just graduated secondary school then. Their relationship moved from teenage crush, teenage date, thorough friend, serious date and then to marriage in 10 years. They said that they have experience times of acquaintance, crush, love, hate, friendship and now marriage. They have been married for 3 years with no children as they say children will come later in the future.
Into Their Career
The official launch of the OT Love Train brand on YouTube was on June 27, 2019, soon after their wedding. They have collected thousands of engagements per post, over 100k followers on Instagram and TikTok, and over 21k subscribers on YouTube.
They have collaborated with a number of well-known companies along their content creation journey, including TELUS, BetterHelp, and Africhange, and have gained endorsements from celebrities like Tunde Ednut, Don Jazzy, and Shina Rambo.
Their content genre spans from Relationship, Lifestyle, Travel, Podcast and Relocation tips. They give their audience the best forms of content on all of their social platforms.
The couples have just released 2 eBooks called "The Lovers Guide: 30 Intimate Actions to Build & Maintain a Healthy Relationship by The OT Love Train" on their website as a method for couples to reconnect and rediscover their love tales through 30 fun and memorable actions.
The duo also work as relationship gurus. They just introduced "Relationship Healing Sessions," a secure venue for private conversations with singles, couples in a relationship, and married people who want to keep their relationships strong.
